John Muir Way

My friend Karen who ruptured her Achilles about a year ago is now well enough to resume the John Muir Way.  So today was day 11 - Strathblane to Carbeth and back again - 16 km) 14 months later than originally planned. It was great to be walking all together again and we were very lucky with the weather. In fact we narrowly missed a thunderstorm at the end. There were bluebells everywhere as well as gorse, so the colours and scents were wonderful. It was too hazy ( and I was too busy chatting) for good photos though .
