Black-bellied Whistling Duck

The Black-bellied Whistling Ducks are back. Every year a small flock of them shows up in our neighborhood. Each evening at dusk I hear them fly over on the way to their roost. This handsome duck is a bit unusual because of its arboreal habits. Whenever I see them they are in high trees, not usual duck behavior.
