Forgotten Lives

On a happy day, I felt a melancholy moment walking through St Michaels church yard with Flinty dog.

I saw a group of long forgotten children's grave stones in the nettles and wondered what extreme loss their families must have felt. I felt very sad.
Of course I was reminded of my own loss too.

Sometimes it is good to access these feelings for a moment in my day.
