More Family

Left Birmingham behind this morning and drove north to Derbyshire to meet up with my Auntie Helen (my Mum’s twin sister - 94 years old) and 3 cousins. We had an enjoyable time, chatting, eating and shopping at the Denby Pottery Village.

Then we continued our drive north for another 3 hours to Darlington to meet up with Kevin again. He had gone ahead the day before to return to work.

We popped in to see his new workplace at the Wine Storage Office and then on to his new home.

It was a challenge to David’s van driving skills to get parked, but he did an excellent job!

Kevin is such a good host and managed to serve us with a delicious steak dinner despite his tiredness!
