Not quite enough room!

A damp start this morning so hoping to get a photo of some goslings hiding under mum's wings I headed up to the Heritage Park.

This female Greylag looks more like a well fed turkey than a lovely sleek goose .... obviously she was sheltering her youngsters but there wasn't enough room for them all. I hung around hoping that mum would stand up and she did. The extra shows how many wee goslings were well hidden under her wings.
