Today we went to the Higashiyama Zoo. It was my first time there and I can’t believe I’ve never been here in all my years living in Nagoya. Zoos are usually the last choice I make when planning for the weekend, but for ¥500 entry to a zoo that is huge and made like a theme park, it’s the best value for the family, easily, in Nagoya. Got to see tigers, lions, bears and all other kinds of amazing creatures. Seeing such magnificent beasts in real life is worth it. You learn a lot and get motivated to learn more.
