Scratchies

Scratchies or instant lotteries are, according to the Government website, a low cost, low reward form of lottery. They are often given as gifts, which is how I got these. They offer instant gratification, since you know as soon as you scratch the ticket whether you have won.
 
As for winning, the website says the odds of winning the major prize are between 1:660,000 and 1:1,250,000.
