Snail Love

Spotted this pair on my walk this morning - they were clearly enjoying the break in the rain!! Lucky I was walking ‘eyes down’ otherwise I may have stood on them. That would have been a shock for them….

We have had a small (seven ish) group of young starlings in the garden today….I am not sure if they are one or two (or more broods) but I have only seen one adult around them. There seemed to be a group of four that stuck close together..managed to get a (poor quality) shot of three of them through the window (see extra)…they do make a lot of noise and don’t keep still for long. I will have to keep my eyes open for a better opportunity.
