Sand moving at West Beach

Today we went to the West Beach Surf Life Saving Club for lunch. This has just recently been rebuilt and is now a fabulous place to go for a meal or perhaps coffee and cake. It overlooks the sea which is quite relaxing.
We enjoyed our meal and then went for a bit of a walk along to watch the trucks move a bit of sand. West Beach is renowned for loss of soil during the winter months so the sand is always replaced.
Our grandsons love clamouring over the sands if we take them down there of a weekend when there are no trucks around.
