Red Admiral

Lots of butterflies in the garden at the moment, the Red Admirals are more tolerant of photographers than the green veined whites, orange tips & holly blues that I also saw today.
Been with L to Grimley to check if the Great Crested Grebe chicks are out yet but none so far. We watched the reed warblers but they were staying low in the reeds making it difficult to get a decent photograph. We enjoyed our morning & went for lunch at Bonnie’s Cafe afterwards.
Planted my cucumbers when I got home.
