Parenthood

We were very excited this week to find out that one of our nesting boxes has finally got tenants. The male has been diving back and forth with food and bedding all day. He always stops on this berberis branch to check the coast is clear before going in. So I sat with my camera set to sports mode and zoomed in, in the hope of catching him.
Looks like a grub or caterpillar this time. In extras you can see fluff for bedding.
