A beautiful day, calm and mild. 
Early this morning the cows were meandering silently over the distant hills, and in the garden the sun was shining brightly on the beautiful colour of the Osteospermum. 
Nearby, the wonderful Oriental Poppy which had flowered unusually early this year, was being steadily joined by several of its kin.  A great delight to see as at it had been thought they'd not survived the torrential rain we'd had throughout the winter. 
A very pleasant day.
