St. Oswald’s Way Day 3

Another tough day - 19.5 miles but at least it wasn’t as warm. Walking with a full rucksack is much harder here than when we were on the Camino! Thankfully no cow dramas today though. Lots of skylarks and a couple of deer and hares. Missed yesterday’s cuckoos lining the route but plenty to see. Warkworth is our destination for the evening, a fabulous castle and another charming town.
