A sunny walk

We headed up to our ‘Frozen Valley’ walk today, in the wonderful spring sunshine.
There were pied flycatchers, redstarts and cuckoos. Plenty of orange tips, and some small tortoiseshells too.
The river was looking lovely, and the iconic dwarf ash tree is growing some leaves again this year, although maybe not looking as vigorous as we could wish.
