New solar lights put up yesterday to match the other side of the garden are operational this evening. I decided against various functions and just went for ‘on’. A weekend of sunshine has been stored up nicely.

I stayed up after Bailey’s breakfast to work, finishing the first job in my pyjamas before getting dressed and walking Bailey round the biggest block before it got too warm. Home to break the back of another task that needs to be completed this week and also tackle the ironing pile that has been mounting up. There was also a bit of reading and an afternoon nap before Bailey’s tea and another walk in the sunshine. That’s the weekend done and sort of ready for what the last week of Term 5 brings.
