Trees in Fairmilehead Park

A lovely sunny start to the day, no mist today. It feels very warm on the wee daunder around the park. No shopping to deal with today, partner and I are off to visit a zero waste shop in East Lothian. We don't get the bus we were expecting to get as the bus in to town is late. So we go for a coffee, then slowly walk to the bus stop. We get in to North Berwick just after 1:30, and head for lunch. It is quite misty, so we are hoping that the haar burns off as forecast.

After lunch, the haar is getting worse. However, we have to get to the zero waste shop as my partner has an eye on some items, and she is hoping they haven't been sold. Thankfully for me they haven't, so she is happy. I look at the collection of old photography gear, just in case there is something interesting. There isn't. We walk along the main street and but a few things from charity shops. The weather hasn't improved, nfact there's quite a bit of dampness in the air. Chilly when we are dressed for sunny weather in t-shirts. We head for afternoon coffee about 4pm, and a cake for energy. Then down to the beach. Not much to see though. Extra is a photo looking east. The Bass Rock should be there somewhere, but it's 'Spot The Bass Rock'. Like the 'Spot the Ball' pictures that used to appear in the newspapers.

We head back to Edinburgh, hoping that the haar stays out east. Unfortunately, it follows us home, and we have missed out on the best weather of the week in Edinburgh.
