Start of a Great Day!

I woke up early enough to watch the sun first appear on the horizon! Mesmerizing, even at 6am! The little sparkles are the dew drops on the beach grasses. It amazes me that we have unobstructed views over the sea to witness both the first light of the day and the last!!

Another relaxing day, involving a slow start with an outing to Kylemore Abbey in the afternoon. To see some stunning views of this, go to BGCoffee’s blip - I couldn’t compete with that!

I particularly wanted to see the Victorian Walled Gardens, which are best seen in the softer afternoon light.
In the way home we ate some delicious fresh fish ‘n’ chips with homemade mushy peas at Veldons Seafarer Bar and Restaurant in Letterfrack Village.
