Flora and Fauna

A wild cherry tree on the roadside and an extra of the third hen adopted last week.  She's a Cemani, an Indonesian breed notable for black plumage and skin and a serrated comb. It has taken much patience to get her used to going into a small coop to be fed but this morning she was waiting at the entrance.  She roosts with all the guinea fowl near the top of a tall tree at night.
