Orchid Flower

A u3a Book Group meeting this morning at Café Cornell. I was early as I had a previous appointment so I had a gluten free bacon sandwich and coffee before the other members of the group arrived.
 
The afternoon was taken up with writing the comments on the book we have just read and dealing with u3a emails, which seem to multiply as soon as I turn me back.
 
Today’s picture is of one of the three orchids, which have flowers, or buds on them.
  
The temperature at noon today was seventeen degrees Celsius; it rained on and off for much of the day.
