CRUISE SHIPS

Two cruise ships in Stromness today.
'Le Boreal' a French ship carrying up to 264 passengers is out in deeper water the other side of the Holms (little islands).
'Ocean Nova' is smaller and was able to come into the harbour next to the Hamnavoe Ferry.  She can take up to 70 passengers. (Extra - with the yellow emergency pods on top.)

Meanwhile in Shetland, Lerwick has welcomed its largest ever cruise ship.  'Virtuosa' is 332m (1,089ft) long with 18 decks, and accommodation for up to 6,334 passengers and 1,704 crew.
Virtuosa's arrival beat the previous record for the largest cruise ship to visit Lerwick.
