Mottisfont

On Sunday, we travelled to Woking for a 2-night stay, to catch up with family and a friend. We took a scenic route so that we could visit Mottisfont, a place we love but hadn’t been to for a couple of years. With everything so early this year, the roses were wonderful but it was so hot and sunny that it was hard to do justice to them.
In the evening, we met up with my cousin P and her husband A. We arranged to meet midway between our hotel and their home, only about 5 miles for each of us. We got to the pub first, but when they walked in, they greeted their next door neighbour before they spotted us!
