Busy Blackbird

Rained nearly all day again. :( Father blackbird is working hard to provide for his brood. A fly and a robber fly with its prey.

My daughter, Mishka and I met my sister at the nursery left to her daughters by our mother as we've had a bit of aggro regarding it again. All seemed to be fine. The tenant, who produces seed, is growing lots of beautifully fragrant sweet peas instead of sugar beet. Lovely to hear a whitethroat singing and to see grass vetchling growing in the meadow. Could have kicked myself - I forgot my camera. :(
