Short all over please!

No, not a haircut, but the lawn.
Quick shot this morning of part of the partially mown lawn showing the before and after of one patch of clover that needed a good trim!

It may be Ladies Final day at Wimbledon, but the end result for the lawn did not quite measure up to their standards, but was considerably tidier than it started out!

I guess sometimes in life we need to accept incremental changes rather than expecting perfection all in one go. In the case of my lawn I don't think it will ever get to perfection so I'll have to be happy with a more pragmatic result!

Sometimes it is better to concentrate on, and take pleasure in, what has been achieved, than worry about what still needs to be done and as a result get despondent. The latter might just be another day's task.
