Beauty is all around us.

Rain is good for the garden.

The Feast Day of Saint William of Perth. 12th Century Scotland.

It is a cold, windy, rainy day, 14c. We are not flooded thank goodness, but some parts near Manchester sadly are. Our back garden lawn is saturated again.
It is not great for wandering outdoors to find a blip, so during a short dry spell, I went into the garden. The green leaves on the left photo, are my wildflowers grown from seeds. The top right is Cottoneaster and the other image is a two colour dianthus, sometimes called Pinks.
Paul has been for his post operation check up in Blackburn and the consultant has given him the all clear. No cancer was found thank God. It was indescribably concerning until he gave me this good news. I am so grateful he is well. He still should not lift cat litter or multi compost bags or mow the lawn for another two months. The wound is still healing. It takes time to heal.
Prayers for all those who need support as they face difficult times through reasons of ill health, unemployment, social injustice or being in a war zone. The book I am reading has opened my eyes to the dreadful experience of people in Ukraine. It is called Night Train to Odesa by Jen Stout.
Have a good Thursday and take care blip friends. Thank you for visiting my site.

"In gardens, as in life, you don't need to have much, to have everything. "
