Morning Mr Magpie!

Unexpectedly I had the morning free, so I took the opportunity to indulge in some macro photography at Trentham Gardens. And there were plenty of bugs and critters around. But I was taken with this magpie who posed beautifully for me, probably expecting food.

The gardens and estate has grown since I was last there and we have 2 swan families of 4 and 6 cygnets too.

My other half was walking so we met for a quick lunch at the Greek restaurant at Trentham.

It was nice to have a little bit of time away from sorting things out for the house move....
