Cuckoo Spit

After a very dull morning the sun came out midafternoon. I went out for a short walk just to get some air and saw loads of the above on the local hedgerow. I used to see it a lot when I was a child. I haven’t noticed it here before otherwise I’m sure I would have taken a picture for blip. The resulting insect to emerge from the foam is a Froghopper . Snazzy looking things.
