Off to Clapham, Yorkshire, for a long weekend and googlemaps decided that it was much better to go via the M1. Quicker and less miles. But I won't be going that way again, the M6 is much better and doesn't take you through Bradford, Shipley etc. There didn't seem to be any services on the M1 but after the route left the motorway I was lucky enough to come across a Tesco. Thank goodness for that!

I was the first to arrive but within 30 mins Julia and John arrived too and we set off for a walk, which turned out to be very pretty.
