RAY of SUNSHINE

I blipped this same Gerbera Daisy plant back on May 25, and it is still blooming like crazy. In spite of the heavy rains that pounded it (daily for a while), there are almost always 6 to 9 pretty blossoms, and the leaves are nearly twice the size they were back in May. I've never had a Gerbera Daisy so hadn't really noticed the detail in this beautiful flower, but I've enjoyed learning to appreciate it - especially the delicate stamen and tiny petals that ring the center. It's such a bright spot on the deck that it puts a smile on my face every time I step outside.
