Are we there yet?

Sunbathing Armadillo at Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife

With the three girls in matching dresses, a reasonably long drive towards the Suffolk coast got us to Jimmy’s farm just outside Ipswich.

Jade, the three girls and I loved the combination of domestic farm animals and more exotic animals from around the world. Some interaction was allowed with the farmyard animals, which is always a treat for the girls, and it’s large enough and has enough attractions to make a full day of it.

We pre-booked lunch at the on-site restaurant, which was nice, but as we knew, it turned into a very costly day out for a family of five. Next time, we will pack a picnic, but as this was February half-term with the usual difficulty in predicting the British weather, I opted for a meal indoors. Of course, the weather turned out lovely just to annoy me, as I expected.
