Damselfly

A lovely sunny morning lured me out for a wander to the local Downs and lots to see while I was out including this lovely blue damselfly.  Was a bit quiet on the butterfly front but did see some Orange Tips, Small Heaths, Whites and holly blues!

Was also tormented by the cuckoo call whereever I went! They didn't want to be found by me!   Lots of chiffchaff, whitethroats, egrets, wrens, blackcaps, blackbirds and also some lovely bunnies!!

And this bank holiday weekend means double points on your Waterstones card if you have one - I may have just used up a birthday book token on their website to treat myself!
