Beautiful Boy . . . John Lennon

This morning we had a calm crossing of Cook Strait.  The ferry was not very full so lots of space and available seating. We spent the afternoon at our son's house.  Grandson Finn is keen on playing games. He beat me at Snakes and Ladders. When we all played a memory  game with picture cards his father won. No surprises there. As a child he had a good memory and usually won against the lovely daughter and me.  Finn turned four on May 2nd and seems much older than when we saw him at Christmas. He has good conversation and answers questions.
