tiny ferns

These beautiful little ferns are growing in the side of the wall that surrounds Ratby churchyard. I can’t imagine how they survive without any soil but they seem to be flourishing. First picture I took was of them on the wall but you couldn’t tell it was the side of the wall so I took this one showing a street view - Main Street running along the top. I’d like some in the garden but I’ve no idea where they’d grow. A nice early walk around Thornton reservoir with Ziggy this morning. And cool enough to work in the garden later on.
