Torquay United used a Beryl Cook painting on the cover in season 1988/89.
For this particular game the Minerva match ball was sponsored by Julie’s Pies. In his notes the manager, Cyril Knowles, was looking forward to the game in the first round proper of the FA Cup against Fareham Town on November 19.
