The Force Is Strong In My Family.

I have it. My son has it. My daughter has it. And my wife has it. Surely she has having bought all these Glico items in their Star Wars campaign. The kids had a surprise when Kazuko came home from work. Instead of opening the door with the key she rang the bell. Arthur looked through the spy hole and saw ..... Darth Vader! He screamed, "Aaaah! It's Darth Vader!" Excellent gag!

We only bought two boxes of caramel sweets. Each box contains one of ten different rubber straps, but the contents of the box is a mystery. We were very lucky to get the two best; Darth Vader and a stormtrooper, although I'd have been happy with Boba Fett strap as well. The "masks" are actually fans and you get a free fan when you buy three Glico items. You also get a lightsaber balloon when you buy three Glico items, so this gives you some idea of how many items we purchased.

Kazuko still wants to buy a couple more products for the chance to win a C3-PO cushion or an R2-D2 air freshener. "May the Force be with you, Kazuko."

On the subject of stars, it didn't rain today so Orihime and Hikoboshi were able to meet on this special day called Tanabata Day or Star Festival Day. We celebrated with a special Star Festival cake.
