We got the beat

Day 2 of the summer garden blip, and today it is my favourite veggie, the glorious beet.
Leaves delicious in a salad, the bulb itself is so versatile. My favourite way of eating them is plucked straight from the garden, washed and then roasted.
Mmmmm!
My mouth is watering just thinking of it.
