Northern Star

Well I never

I’ve been moving my sunflowers around quite a bit before I plant them in the ground and I discovered over the course of the day one of them had a small coating of the most vibrant colour eggs. A quick google suggests they are the eggs of the common shield beetle, no big surprise given we have loads of those flying all over the place here.

A bright weather day where I did a bit of planting, pruning and compost bin filling.
