Gannets

I struggled for a blip today.  When I thought there was a break in the weather, I headed out in the car but by the time I had driven 3 miles, it was chucking it down again.  You can see the rain splashes on the sea surface in my blip.

There were about half a dozen gannets fishing offshore and I shot off nearly 100 frames.  Sadly, this was the only one worth blipping.  The rain and the distance conspired against me.

And it still annoys me that I have to remember that Sula bassana should now be called Morus bassanus.
