My island in the sun

Highs of 34 degrees Celsius were reached today down in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. We live to the north east of the island, but fancied a trip down to the botanical gardens on a day such as this. We also stopped off at the donkey sanctuary on the way down too.

The beauty of living here on the island is that there is always a beach, or a gardener's paradise no more that 20 minutes away, so these hot days can never go wasted.

Today's Blip comes from our amble along the Ventnor coastal path to the far side of the Botanical Gardens. There actually wasn't much of a sea breeze today, as you can imagine, but it was a degree more comfortable than inland Newport way.

Im solar charged, so I don't mind.
