A summer read

A very nice read. About glass, water, regrets, loneliness, coming to terms with the past, discovering an unknown family history and about feminism in the early 20th century, all blending into one story. I had glanced at one of the worst reviews ever before I started reading it... , but fortunately I heartily disagree with that review. It's just a matter of opinion of course. And a matter of taste. It is a book of fiction and for me the story was spellbinding enough to keep on reading almost in one go until I reached the final page.
