Meadow

Today we drove a wee bit down the road and walked up to Cautley Spout. A lovely walk it was. On the way back we stopped in at the Cross Keys Temperance Inn. This is an Inn bequeathed to the National Trust on the condition it would not sell alcohol. We had a range of sasperilla, pink lemonade, ginger beer and nettle juice. We were parched by this time and the drinks were the most refreshingly gorgeous things ever.

We had a lazy afternoon and some of us watched the telly (well done Andy Murray!). After tea we went out for a ramble across adjoining fields, sat and watched some badgers down by a beck, gambolling around, then home through this wild flower meadow.
