The View .............

On a clear day, you can see for forty miles. This is "The View" from the observation deck at The Shard , London.
We had booked this trip some time ago, and what a fabulous day it was.It was a real scorcher and we could see all the landmarks clearly. I would certainly say it's worth doing if you are ever in the area.
My husband had booked a lovely surprise........... Afternoon tea at Harrods. We had a great time and you will be surprised to hear..... we couldn't eat it all ! They boxed up the left over scones and pastries and we brought them home . What a posh doggie bag !
Home at 11pm, thorougly exhausted :-))
