Milton Keynes Half Marathon

Obviously on the hottest day of the year so far it makes sense to run 13 miles plus in the midday sun. Well it was so hot even the mad dogs thought bugger that for a game of soldiers. Well quite a few thought they would give it a go even if they did ponder the sanity of their decision before the start of the race. It was a gorgeous day and a lot of fun cheering them on. I managed to get home in time to see history being made. A sensational performance by Andy Murray. A terrific high quality match. A fantastic way to end the week or start it depending on your viewpoint.
