A day in the garden

Having been told (by text) that #3boy was staying at Brandon's last night I was surprised to get up at 6.45am to find him watching TV in his dressing gown.

He announced that he thinks he has broken his hand!!

Apparently he hit it on a metal bar while on a ride at Southport. It is very swollen and bruised and I think he may be right. My money is on a hairline fracture to the bone on the out side of his hand (under his little finger, left hand). Unfortunately he does most things (except writing) with his left hand which now resembles a bruised coloured football. Last night he couldn't settle at Brandon's because his hand hurt so he walked home!!! at 2am!!!!!!!!
There has been ice pack application and anti-inflammatory consumption.
Although he has refused to go to the hospital he WILL be having an x-ray tomorrow whether he wants one or not!!

Apart from attending to the wounded child I was mainly cooking and washing clothes and gardening. It was lovely and warm. Summer at last!!!!
