Backstage Tour

Probably not the best of days to travel to London but it was certainly worth it to see what goes on behind the scenes at the magnificent Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. From the fabulous auditorium to the jewellery/hats/masks department, the costume areas to the practise rooms where the ballet dancers were working hard, the mechanics of the scenery shifters and the hundreds of photographs of starts past and present, all giving us a taste of this wonderful national treasure. And, of course, no photos allowed! So I blipped the flag outside just to prove I was there!!
