Fort Augustus

A glorious morning for heading through the locks at Fort Augustus. They took the boats in two sets so in meant we were not through the locks till after 11am. So it was a fairly steady motor for John to try and get down to Banavie to allow for the best start of his holidays next week. I jumped off at Lagan Locks to be assurred of getting my train home from Fort William.

What a contrast from yesterday with the wild winds, it was calm today.
