Noticed this scarecrow type thing in Muthill on way home from Dundee (round about way) this afternoon.

Obviously it's for their gala day or whatever they call it in that particular village as there were some other ones here and there.

The ones in Thornhill are usually the best ones.

I saw five campers today on the roads. The fifth was actually an "09" plate Danbury which is a basically a brand new VW camper to modern specification.

About 24 grand in case you were wondering.

One of the bays I saw on the motorway had a matching trailer for a tent etc. which was awesome.

Looking back on Wimbledon it is worthy of note that the crowd for Murray-Roddick was really conservative and failed to raise itself to contributing near to anything similar to any atmosphere as previous crowds.

I can only surmise this was due to either the cost of tickets or corporate entertainment preventing the great unwashed from getting in.

I think they let Murray down as he was clearly trying to gee them up at various stages but all sat fairly reservedly in their suits and ties.

It's a shame to see evidence of elitism sneak in at the latter stages of the tournament when tennis is once again becoming interesting to the masses.

Whether it is accessable or not is again a different matter.
