Significant Day

My youngest Sam took himself off to our local and outstanding Linton Village College this morning for an introduction couple of days. He will be starting there in September. He is very happy that he is in the same form as his best friend Ross. At one point they got lost but older brother Ben's friend Lois helped him find where he should be going. In due course we will see the effect/expectations/pressures? of older brothers having attended the school before him - at the moment the effect is all good....

Also significant we actually had sunshine for Ben's home cricket match this evening and I was unexpectedly available to see it. Great performance against a team we were not expected to win against but in the end, although our team lost, the difference was only 9 runs.

Ben is rather despondent tonight as he didn't score any runs - but on the positive although I caught him being bowled out on camera - I didn't blip it :-)
