Big changes afoot for a school in Kenya...

These children from Kaweru Primary School in Kenya loved having their photograph taken!

IMPACT is about to start drilling a borehole in their school grounds, to provide a source of water on site. Not only will this provide clean drinking water - hygiene and sanitation will improve too.

Our Community Nurse and ENT Clinical Officer will make regular rounds to screen the children for ill health and older children are being trained as School Health Monitors. We are also equipping the school with First Aid equipment and will be establishing a vegetable plot to boost the meagre diets of pupils.
