My Long Term Memory

Closed doors

Sunday morning we woke up on church bells.
After breakfast and morning swum in pool we decided to go back to Upper- Paphos to see some town and maybe purchase some presents to bring home.
We took bus up and were astonished: city was completely closed and deserted. No humans anywhere, all doors were closed. Heat and cats remained in streets.
We wondered it while, then head back to Kato Paphos by bus. Bus driver told us after we asked where all people, that Sunday is locals day off and everyone goes to the sea.
At Kato Paphos tourist zone everything were normal. Stores, cafeterias and restaurants were open. Lots of people were enjoying sun and swim in sea from pier.
We went to eat lunch at restaurant in pier called Harbour: Chicken curry for me, My Girl ate warm ham and cheese ciabatta with salad and chips.
After that was time to shop presents to dear ones back home. We got some sea sponges from old man who had table under umbrella on pier. We also buyed from store some natural olive oil soap and fresh Turkish delight (Loukoumi). Also had to have some sweet covered fresh cashew nuts for my dad.
Soon we were desperate need to cool out, so went back to the pier and jumped to the sea. It was so easy. There are some swimming dock's to dip in.

Soon it was time to get back to hotel pool. After while we all went to look after dinner. Today it was Chloe's chinese restaurant where we ate outside under pink fairy lighted cherry trees: spring rolls, spring onion rice and garlic chicken. Excellent and light!
Afterwards we went to gelateria for dessert. I had one scoop of coconut ice cream. It was yummy!
Quick stop to bup next to our hotel, My Girls aunt sang karaoke and we listened her first performance.
