Hand Lake

Hiked to Hand Lake today with the intention of hiking an additional 5 miles to Robinson Lake. However, the trail run along a lava bed and there is limited shade. After 1 mile beyond Hand Lake, I decided to turn around because it was too hot for Prise, my pup, and I did not have enough water. Though my hike was short (3 miles roundtrip), it was lovely and very peaceful.

PS For those interested, I back blipped a photo from yesterday of the Three Sisters taken from Scott Mountain; it is beautiful.
